Our History

RGD Property Group was founded by Ron Grabbe when he established a family based business sub-dividing parcels of land in the Nambour and Yandina area. When the property market crashed in the late 1980s, Ron was quick to innovate and start building homes on the land in order to sell it - and so began his property development career. From here, Ron went further a field developing large multi-million dollar residential projects up and down the coast in the 1990s, including Munna Cove at Noosaville, Palm Cove at Maroochy Waters, and Noosa Tropicana at Noosa Waters. RGD Property Group also branched into the commercial market during this time with The Boulevard Centre at Minyama and Office Quay at Mooloolaba. A milestone for the company was the Leeward Apartments project within the exclusive Double Bay precinct on Kawana Island, which commenced in 2002. This development saw RGD Property Group come into its own as a major player in the creation of outstanding and innovative medium density apartments.
